ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

JHProIT is a U.S.-based technology consulting company focused on delivering high-quality software engineering solutions to clients across a range of industries. As we grow, we are expanding our network of senior technical consultants who can represent our engineering capabilities in client interviews, contribute to stakeholder discussions, and help launch new engagements successfully.

We are looking for a highly experienced software engineering professional with excellent communication skills, strong technical judgment, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Your experience & skills.

  • Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above), with confident spoken communication for U.S.-based client interviews and technical discussions.
  • At least nine years of professional backend software engineering experience, including hands-on work building and maintaining production systems.
  • Professional experience with at least two to three backend languages or frameworks, such as Java/Spring, C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or comparable technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of backend architecture, API development, databases, system design, integrations, and scalable application development.
  • Ability to explain technical decisions clearly and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the technologies you have used.
  • Experience across different technology stacks, development environments, and software architectures.
  • Proven ability to participate confidently in technical interviews, client discussions, solution reviews, or engineering assessments.
  • Strong real-world delivery experience: understand technical requirements, solve complex backend problems, and connect engineering decisions to business needs.

Additional strengths

  • Practical experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, version control, and deployment processes.

THE CONSULTING ROLE

How you will contribute.

Client interviews & technical discussions

Represent JHProIT’s engineering capabilities in client interviews and stakeholder conversations, drawing on your own professional experience and technical judgment.

Architecture & solution reviews

Explain backend architecture, API, database, integration, and scalability decisions. Evaluate requirements and communicate practical tradeoffs.

Engagement launch

Help new engagements start successfully by connecting client requirements, proposed solutions, and the engineering work needed to deliver them.

COMPENSATION · FLEXIBLE ARRANGEMENTS

Interview pay & performance bonuses.

Interview time

USD $35–$60 per hour

Base pay applies to time spent in interviews.

Offer milestone

USD $500

Paid once an offer is received.

First two months

USD $1,000 per month

Paid for each of the first two months the engagement is running.

The performance bonus totals USD $2,500 per engagement: $500 at the offer milestone, followed by $1,000 per month for the first two months the engagement runs. This is the default payment structure; compensation arrangements are flexible.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Win 3–8 new engagements each month.

Performance is measured by winning engagements and helping them move into delivery. Bonus payments follow the milestones above.
