01
What is actually failing?
Software conflicts, storage pressure, failing components, and network problems can feel similar. Describe the symptoms and any recent changes before choosing a repair or replacement path.
02
What work must the computer handle?
A device used for basic administration has different needs from one used for intensive creative work. Consider performance, compatibility, portability, and the software you must run.
03
What is the full repair cost?
Include diagnosis, labor, replacement parts, and any related work. Ask whether a diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair and whether parts are available.
04
Is the platform still supported?
A working device can still be a poor fit if its required software no longer receives appropriate security support. Confirm compatibility and update options for the exact model and operating system.
05
What happens to your files?
Check the backup before repair or replacement. A new computer may require migration, account setup, and application licensing. Include those tasks in the decision.
06
What warranty applies?
Ask what issue the labor warranty covers and whether replacement parts have a separate manufacturer warranty. JHProIT’s usual repair labor warranty is 30 days for the specific issue repaired, subject to your invoice.
